Upon arrival at Siem Reap airport, you are warmly welcomed by our friendly tour guide and then transfer to hotel for check in & refresh.

At 04.00 pm, pick up from hotel for a visit to Bakheng Temple and enjoy a spectacular sunset view from Bakheng Hills.

Tonight enjoy our welcome Dinner with Apsara Dance Show. Accommodation at hotel.

DAY 2SIEM REAP – TA PROHM – ANGKOR THOM – ANGKOR WAT (B/L/-)

After enjoying your breakfast at hotel, this morning start your visit to the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man’s creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature.  We explore this masterpiece, as well as, some of the surrounding temples including Banteay Kdei, Ta Keo, Thommanon, Chau Say Tevado, Srah Srong. Lunch at local restaurant.

Afternoon, out to visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12 century): the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk. Continue visit to the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Continue visiting the famous temple: Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat is a World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology.

DAY 3SIEM REAP – BATTAMBANG (B/L/-)

Breakfast at hotel.

At 8:00 AM, we departure to Battambang, the second largest city and the biggest rice producer in Cambodia. Driving distance takes about 175km = 3 hours. Upon arrival, check in at hotel for refreshment.

Afternoon, visit Phnom Banon, with its five sandstone towers on a hill and enjoys magnificent views of the surrounding plains. On the way back, you can visit the traditional Cambodian houses and the artisan factory of rice flaky cake.

Evening try out for a ride on the Bamboo Train, a fun experience and also a great opportunity to see the sunset view at countryside. It’s like a childhood dream come true. Overnight at hotel in Batambang.

DAY 4BATTAMBANG – PHNOM PENH (B/L/-)

After breakfast at hotel, overland transfer to Phnom Penh with driving distance of 291km approximately 6 hours. On the way stop by at pottery village at Kampong Chnang to admire hard work of local family who pottery by manual for a living. Continue the road we will make a stop at Kompong Luong where you’ll board on a traditional boat. From here you can watch community life on the lake seeing a real floating village. Continuing down the road for about an hour, arrive at Kompong Chhnang where after a walk through the village you will have lunch at a local restaurant.

Continue the road to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival check in hotel and overnight in Phnom Penh.

DAY 5ROYAL PALACE – NATIONAL MUSEUM – CENTRAL MARKET – WAT PHNOM (B/L/-)

Breakfast at hotel, today start your first stop by visiting the Royal Palace built in 1866 and the Silver Pagoda located within the Royal Palace compound. The Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5,000 silver tiles. Continue to the National Museum, dedicated exclusively to Khmer art and sculpture. The majority of the exhibits are from the Angkor period (9th to 15th century), but some date from as early as the 4thcentury. Lunch at local restaurant.

In the afternoon, visit the Central Market (Psar Thmei), a large market constructed in 1937 in the shape of a dome with four arms branching out into vast hallways with countless stalls of goods. The four wings of this gigantic yellow dome are teeming with stalls that sell goods ranging from gold and silver, antique coins, money exchange, books, flowers, food, fabrics, shoes, souvenirs, seafood and countless other products. Last stop for today, visit to Wat Phnom, an ancient pagoda on a hill, which marks the legendary founding place of the city. Overnight at hotel in Phnom Penh.
