Itinerary

DAY 1PHNOM PENH ARRIVAL – SUNSET CRUISE + STREET FOOD TOURS (D)

Upon arrival Phnom Penh, greeted by our tour guide and driver then transfer to hotel for check in at your hotel. Standard check in time is 2:00pm.

Evening, transfer by Tuk Tuk to explore Phnom Penh nightlife. First, we will take you to relax one hour with Sunset Cruise on the river fronting the Royal Palace. Enjoy the cool and fresh air along the river and watch the night come alive. As dusk falls, we will return from the cruise bring you to some popular local eateries to sample a variety of local fare. This place called Phnom Penh Night Market. From here, try out many food as you desired, but don’t forget to try out some local BBQ followed up with a unique and delicious Coconut ice-cream. We are pretty sure you will love it.

After meal, you may shop around a little bit, then we will leave market and head to our final destination to see an incredible night view of 4 rivers from the room top bar with one complimentary of cocktail, beer or fruit shake at your selection. After one hour, we will bring you back to hotel for overnight in Phnom Penh.

DAY 2LOCAL MARKET VISIT - CITY TOUR (B/L/D)

This morning, we will skip, regular breakfast at hotel, but will experience a real local popular breakfast “Bai Sach Chrouk” (Marinated pork with steam rice) in a local restaurant. The dish was featured in a CNN travel article as one of the “10 meals every visitor to Cambodia should try”.

After breakfast, getting more deeper experience to witness how a busy life at the local market (wet market) at Central Market, where you see all fresh meats, life fishes, seafood, vegetable, and more….. After you may continue to souvenir section where tones of souvenir was displayed and for sales. You may also explore the surrounding of the market where different sections of business are conducted. Then it’s time for lunch. Today you will enjoy another authentic street food near Soriya Mall. This place was very busy during lunch where most of the local come to have lunch during lunch break. After lunch, back to hotel for a short break and shower.

Afternoon, visit the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866, and the Silver Pagoda, located within the grounds of the Royal Palace. The Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5,000 silver tiles. Continue to National Museum, one of Phnom Penh’s true architectural gems. The Museum is instantly recognizable with its warm red terracotta and its gracefully cured roof topped by dozens of guardian Nagas. It was designed in Khmer style in 1917 by famed French architect Georges Groslier&Ecole Des Arts Cambodgiens. Last stop at Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21 prison). This prison was a high school, and used as a prison by Pol Pot’s security forces and became the largest center for detention and torture during the rule of the Khmer Rouge.

For dinner, head out to Orussey Market for street food. Meet local people and taste truly authentic local food. There are many varieties to try such as fried noodles with beef and noodle soup. The perfect spot to possibly try “baby duck egg” or marinated beef stick. After dinner return to hotel.

DAY 3PHNOM PENH - SIEM REAP BY BUS (B/D)

Today breakfast at hotel, then transfer to bus station where you will catch bus to Siem Reap. You will take up to 6 hours on the bus to get to Siem Reap. On the trip you will have two stops for break and lunch (at your own budget and desire).

Continue to road to Siem Reap. On arrival Siem Reap, pick up and transfer to your hotel for check in and refresh.

Evening, at agreed time from 05: pm to 07: pm, our guide & Tuk Tuk driver, will pick you up from your hotel then drive around the city, at the end you will stop at night market where you will find many gifts for your family and friends.

Nearby you will find many street food venders available at several of choice for you to choose and experience. One of the most commend and popular food for our local people was “The baby duck eggs” or so-called by local as “Pong Tea Kon“. They boil this eggs serve with paper salt, lemon juice and some mint. Your meal will end with the most popular fresh fruit smoothie, or local way called “Toeuk Kralork” You can choose different flavor or fruit type you want such as, avocado, durian, mango, passion fruit, and more. After meal and desert, you will relax and release with 1hour foot or shoulder massage.

Then transfer back to hotel for rest and overnight.

DAY 4SIEM REAP - TEMPLE TOURS (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel, 8:00AM we leave hotel then start your visit to the World Heritage Site; visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. You will have lunch at local restaurant at your own expense. Continue visit Ta Prohm. One of the area’s most beautiful temples, Ta Prohm has been left relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Its appeal lies in the fact that, unlike the other monuments of Angkor, it was abandoned and swallowed by the jungle, looking very much the ways most of the Angkor temples appeared when European explorers first stumbled upon them. Lunch with local family at Srah Srang.

Afternoon, visit the architectural masterpiece of Angkor Wat. We stroll around this massive monument, exploring the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple.

Tonight, you will enjoy your farewell dinner (buffet style) with Apasara Dance Show at Local Restaurant. After dinner, bring you back to hotel or drop of off at Pub Street, where you may extend your night with other tourists hanging out there. Overnight in Siem Reap.
