DETAILS ITINERARY


Day 1: Arrival Phnom (D)

Upon arrival Phnom Penh, meet our tour guide and transfer to your choice of hotel for check in.

Evening enjoy your dinner with sunset cruise along Mekong and Tunle Sap River.

Day 2: Phnom Penh City Tours: Royal Place – Central Market – Tuol Sleng – Killing Fields (B/L)

Breakfast at hotel, today start your first stop by visiting the Royal Palace built in 1866 and the Silver Pagoda located within the Royal Palace compound. The Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5,000 silver tiles. Visit the Central Market (Psar Thmei), a large market constructed in 1937 in the shape of a dome with four arms branching out into vast hallways with countless stalls of goods.

Afternoon, visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21 prison). This prison was a high school, used as a prison by Pol Pot's security forces, and became the largest center for detention and torture during the rule of the Khmer Rouge. Then continue to the notorious Killing Fields "Choeung Ek", 15km southwest of Phnom Penh. This is the site of the brutal execution of more than 17,000 individuals, most of whom were incarcerated in Tuol Sleng Prison during the Pol Pot regime (1975–1979).

Day 3: Phnom Penh – Kampong Thom – Sombor Prei Kuk (B/L)

After breakfast, departure to Kampong Thom on National Road #6 for 168km about 4 hours drive. On the way, stop at Skuon (75km from the capital), a market town on the highway popular for its fried spiders as a specialty snack. Lunch at local restaurant.

Continue to drive to the archeological site of Sambor Prei Kuk, which is dotted with hundreds of pre-Angkorian style temples. The road conditions was not that smooth, but the spectacular scenery surrounding this ancient ruin, with a mixture of temples and forest, makes it worthwhile. Evening return to Hotel for check in.

Day 4: Kampong Thom – Kompong Phluk - Siem Reap (B/L)

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Siem Reap, the base for visiting the world famous temples of the ancient city of Angkor, which was home to the capital of the powerful Khmer Empire dating from 802 AD to 1350 AD. (Lunch at local restaurant)

Before reaching Siem Reap, visit Kompong Phluk (22 KM from Siem Reap). This amazing floating village is built on 8 to 10 m high stilts and it is also one of natural tourisms and a mangroves for hundreds species of fresh water fishes and birds and decorated with ethnic stilted houses line over the water surface up to the air. The villages are primarily Khmer and have about 3000 inhabitants between them, most of who live in stilted houses. The people depend largely on fishing and tourism for their incomes. We embark on the traditional wooden boat through the flooded forests of the Great Tonle Sap Lake, habitat of many bird species it will bring you to Kompong Phluk.

Evening, continue road to Siem Reap and transfer directly to hotel for check in.

Day 5: Siem Reap Tours: Angkor Thom – Ta Prohm – Angkor Wat – Apsara Dance Show Dinner (B/D)

Today spend a full day exploring the ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest.

Continue your visit at the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature.                                                                                           

Afternoon visit the most complete temple, Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares and has galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple. Dinner with Apsara Dance Show.

Day 6: Siem Reap – Battambang by Boat (B)

After breakfast, transfer to boat dock, where you will be boarding to Battambang (Depart at 7:30am, arrive BTT at 3pm). Upon arrival, pick up by our driver and transfer to hotel for check in.

Day 7: Battambang Tours – Bamboo Train – Phnom Sampov – Killing Caves (B/L)

After breakfast at hotel, transfer to try out for a ride on the Bamboo Train, a fun experience and also a great opportunity to see the countryside and live of local family. Lunch at local restaurant

Evening, visit Phnom Sampov, and "Killing caves" Temple on a hill and every evening at dusk, from 17:30 to 5:50 p.m., thousands of bats leave the cave in an endless stream.

Day 8: Battambang – Phnom Penh – Kep (B/L)

After breakfast, transfer directly from Battambang to Kep, via Phnom Penh. The combination distances drive is about 451km which take approximately 7-8 hours. Stop at Phnom Penh for lunch break before continue the road to Kep. Upon arrival Kep, transfer to hotel for check in and rest.

Your tour guide service will end after drop of at Kep, but if you prefer we can extend guide service until drop of at Sihanouk Ville.

Get a glimpse into Kep’s earlier glory by visiting several abandoned colonial villas, including the former residence of King Father Norodom Sihanouk. Mixing the old with the new, you will also travel along the coastal roads, visit the famous crab shacks, a hillside temple, and the iconic siren of the sea statue overlooking Kep.

A Day on an Island:

A short tuk-tuk ride, followed by a 25-30 minute journey by private fisherman’s boat, and guests are transported to the rustic shores and sandy beaches of Koh Tonsay (Rabbit Island) – just 4.5km off the south coast of Cambodia.

Cave & Secret Lake Tour

The landscape between Kep and Kampot is dotted with jungled limestone mountains, many of which contain hidden caves and simple Buddhist shrines. On this tour guests will first visit the caves of Phnom Chhnork known for their Pre-Angkorian carvings and a well-preserved 7th century shrine to Shiva.  As you explore the caves, keep an eye out for the various animal carvings and protruding stalagmites and stalactites. About 300 meters from the main cave is an entrance into a deeper section, requiring some climbing and sturdy shoes.

Day 10: Kep – Sihanouk Ville (B)

After breakfast, transfer directly to Sihanouk Ville for about 3 hours drive. Drop off at hotel for check in.

Day 11: Free at Sihanouk Ville Free day (B)

Free at your own leisure to explore beaches activities at the surrounding islands, included snorkeling, diving, fishing, trekking on the islands. Check with your hotel for more information if you are interested.

Day12: Sihanouk Ville – Phnom Penh – Departure (B)

After breakfast, you will be transfer back to Phnom Penh. The road takes about 4 hours drive. Transfer directly Phnom Penh Airport for connecting your flight to next destination.
